We are pleased to share an important update from the Ministry of Finance that aims to support businesses and individuals across various sectors. On June 30, 2025, the Ministry issued Circular No. 64/2025/TT-BTC, which outlines revised rates and exemptions for certain fees and charges. This initiative is designed to alleviate financial burdens and foster economic growth, with specific provisions for industrial property fees.

Key Highlights of the Circular

The Circular introduces a reduction in fees related to industrial property. Specifically:

  • Industrial property charges will now be payable at 50% of the rates outlined in Section A of the Schedule of Fees and Charges for Industrial Property. This schedule was originally issued under Circular No. 263/2016/TT-BTC, dated November 14, 2016, by the Minister of Finance.
  • Importantly, fees in all other sections of Circular No. 263/2016/TT-BTC remain unchanged and will continue to apply at their existing rates.

This measure is part of a broader effort to provide relief to enterprises and the public, helping to streamline operations and encourage innovation in the industrial property domain.

Effective Period

The provisions of Circular No. 64/2025/TT-BTC take effect starting from July 1, 2025, and will remain in force until December 31, 2026. Businesses and individuals involved in industrial property matters are encouraged to review their upcoming filings and payments to take advantage of these reduced rates during this period.
