He graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering at the Institute of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. He has participated in the student's scientific research program to adopt information technology (open source) into goods producing and service business. Before joining Winco, he worked in Vietnam Data Communication Company (VDC) (the largest Internet service provider in Vietnam).
Thom graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications at the University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She has extensive knowledge of the solar photovoltaic and semiconductor industry with more than 8 years of experience in solar energy applications. Before joining Winco, she worked as a photovoltaic expert for Solarlab.
Hang is a graduate of the Hanoi University of Industry where she received her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. She primarily deal with drarfting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications. Her background in mechanical engineering also enable her to handle design applications.
Anh is an associate of the firm's Ho Chi Minh office. He is a graduate of Hanoi Law University. He is member of Trademark Department. His practice emphasis is on the areas of trademark and copyright law including preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, representing clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings.
Mach is a partner of the firm’s Ho Chi Minh office, specializing in preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, representing clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, provision of advice on strategies for the maintenance and protection of intellectual property subject matters. He had been involved in the field of intellectual property for 8 years prior to joining the firm. He studied at Bochum University in Germany where he received his Bachelor of Laws in 1978. He is a member of INTA, ECTAand AIPPI.
Tuyen specializes in trademark, copyright and litigation law. After her graduation from Vietnam National University Hanoi where she received her Bachelor of Economics, she joined WINCO. She has been practicing in the area of trademark and copyright law for 8 years. She has continued her academic studies at Franco – Vietnamese Center for Education of Management (CFVG Hanoi). She is a member of VIPA, INTA, ECTA and AIPPI.
Cong is a patent attorney who has not only extensive knowledge of intellectual property but also direct experience in diversified technical fields, from robotics engineering (Mechanical Lab- Hanoi University of Science and Technology), to software engineering (DASI Center- Hanoi University of Science and Technology), to mechanical design engineering (Everbridge Vietnam; Cimas Engineering), and to production engineering (Canon Vietnam; Vicostone).
Cong advises clients on patent issues and strategies in Vietnam, and handles other proceedings related to patents and design. Cong has earned a Bachelor of Mechatronics engineering, and a Bachelor of Laws. He also obtained a Certificate in Creatology from the Vietnam Foundation for Science and Technology; Certificates from the Japan Patent Office, and the IP Academy – Singapore.
Van is an experienced patent translator. She has translated over 700 patent specifications in the electronics, telecommunication, and mechanical fields. Prior to joining WINCO in 2015, Van spent three years as a researcher in the Physics Lab of the Hanoi University of Science, and than 15 years in a large local IP law firm. Van earned a Master degree in Engineering Physics from the Hanoi University of Science, and a Bachelor degree in Foreign languages from the Hanoi University of Foreign languages.
Tuan Anh is a patent translator in WINCO’s Hanoi office. Anh specializes in telecommunication, software, information technology, and electronics. He holds a Bachelor of Telecommunications Engineering from the Military Technical Academy. He also received Certificates in “Routing and Switching Troubleshooting” from CISCO; “Windows Server 2016 (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NAP, Network load balancing, direct access, Nano server,…)” from Microsoft Corp.; and “Linux system administrator ” from the NetPro Academy. After graduating from university, he worked for three years as a Network System Administrator for SANDA Hoa Binh, and two years for installing and maintaining X-ray machines, IED/EOD Detectors, Alcohol Countermeasure systems, Metals Detectors… He has also completed a training course in patent drafting techniques that was organized by the European Patent Office and the NOIP. Anh speaks both Vietnamese and English.
Chung is a patent translator in WINCO’s Hanoi office. Chung’s extensive background in engineering allows him to analyze and understand technical systems from both the view of a translator and the perspective of an engineer. Chung spent five years as an engineer in Vietnam Electricity Corporation and twelve years as a patent translator in local law firm before joining WINCO in 2015. Chung holds a Bachelor degree in Automation Engineering from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
