Dr. Phuong has seventeen years of experience in consulting and auditing with KPMG and other Big-4 firms, having profound knowledge in finance and accounting, external auditing of financial statements, internal control system and risk management. Some of his key projects and most recent experience at KPMG include: Participated in a number of KrMG’s due diligence projects as a buy-side advisor; Led hundreds of engagements to audit financial statements, to review internal control systems of KPMG’s clients including banks, finance companies, securities companies, funds, fund managers, manufacturing companies and other organizations in Vietnam; Led a project on reviewing reconciliation process, develop bank- wide reconciliation framework, policy and procedures tor key business processes for a Vietnamese commercial bank; Participated in MOF project team to prepare the new Vietnamese Accounting Standards (“VAS”) and Vietnamese Financial Reporting Standards (“VFRS”), etc.

Phuong graduated from the Hanoi University of Technology (Faculty of Electrical Engineering). Prior to joining Winco, he was an associate of Vietnam Electricity. His practice emphasis is on the areas of patent including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. His expertise has enabled him to write numerous patent descriptions covering a wide range of technologies including electrical devices, mechanical, electronics, computing.

Giang graduated from Hanoi University of Technology (Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications).

Prior to joining Winco, he was an associate of Hanoi Telecom Services Company. Giang is well experienced in preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the field of computers, information technology, electronics, robotics.

Le Xuan Hoang is the first founding member of WINCO. He graduated from Hanoi Law University in 1988. He was a specialist of the Legislation Department of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam during 1988 – 1992 and became a member of Hanoi Lawyer Corps in 1992. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of intellectual property; especially he is proficient in solving intellectual property disputes on the rights over patents, industrial designs, trademarks in Vietnam as well as claims for the rights over industrial property subject matters in Vietnam and trademarks in Laos and Cambodia. He attended a lawyer and judge training course organized by Vietnam Ministry of Justice and many other training courses as well as international forums on intellectual property matters which were sponsored by WIPO. He was also awarded his Certificate of Intellectual Property by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

He is a member of VIPA (Vietnam Intellectual Property Association), VAL (Vietnam Association of Lawyers), ASEAN IPA (the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association), APAA (Asian Patent Attorney Association), INTA (International Trademark Association), ECTA (European Communities Trade Mark Association) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).

Chien graduated from Hanoi National University where he gained his Bachelor of Electronics engineering. He was awarded his Certificate of Intellectual Property by JIII and AOTS (Japan). His practice encompasses the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the field of electronics and computer technology, providing advice on strategies for the maintenance and protection of intellectual property rights.

He was awarded his Certificate of Intellectual Property by the NOIP of Vietnam. He is an active member of VIPA , APAA, and AIPPI.

Phuong is an Associate at the Hanoi Office of Winco with over 12 years of experiences in legal practice. She is well-versed in macroeconomic trends and policies, risk Management, and trade finance. She has been actively involved as a local lawyer and/or consultant in a number of foreign investment projects to which foreign investors relating to legal advices and researches, legal supports to private sector development and business start-up, and other commercial and corporate issues. Prior to joining Winco, she was a Research Analyst at Standard Chartered, where she monitored developments in Vietnam’s financial sector, with a specific focus on the banking, multi- finance, and logistics sectors.

Nga is patent attorney in Hanoi office. Her capabilities span the entire patent field, from consulting with clients and managing cases, to drafting patent specifications, to translating specifications into Vietnamese, to interviewing examiners of the NOIP to accelerate the examination process.

She earned a Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications with high marks from the HCMC University of Technology, and then earned a Diploma of foreign languages from English Division of HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Nga also holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Troy University, USA. Prior to joining WINCO in 2011, she spent 7 years as an engineer in FPT Telecom and Siemens Vietnam. She also completed many IP training courses organized by WIPO, ASEAN IPA, and the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

Thinh is a graduate of University of Finance and Accountancy where she received her Bachelor of Account. She is also awarded her Bachelor of English at University of Foreign Languages. She has taken part in a training program on Protection and Enforcement of IPR in Vietnam between University of Finance and Accountancy and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).
She obtained Certificate of Auditing. Prior joining WINCO, she was an accountant in Than Phuong Co. Ltd. She is in charge of registration of Invention, Utility Solution, Industrial Design, Trademarks, geographical indication of goods and Copyrights. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
Thom is an associate of the firm's Hanoi office. Prior to joining the firm, she was the former member of FPT.
She graduated from Hanoi Polytechnic University and Hanoi University of Foreign Languages.
 
Her practice emphasis is on the areas of patent and copyright law including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, representing clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, providing advice on strategies for the maintenance and protection of intellectual property. 

To graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics. He was also awarded his Certificate of Intellectual Property by JIII and AOTS (Japan). His law and agency practice encompasses such matters on patent and relating IP rights as translation, preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the field of electronics and computer technology, providing advice on strategies for the maintenance and protection of intellectual property rights. He was awarded his Certificate of Intellectual Property by the NOIP of Vietnam.
